To strengthen our downtown through the collaboration of community and economic development. Our passion is supporting historic preservation, experiences for all, and quality of life in the heart of Perry.
Executive Director

Laura Vollmer
Laura is self-motivated individual who has diverse skillset she’s acquired both in a professional setting and from community involvement activities. Her extensive background in event planning, working with nonprofit organizations, organizing fundraisers, ceremonies, and other various activities make her a perfect match for the Main Street organization. She is currently the president of the PPT, a member of the Perry Alumni Board of Directors, treasurer of the Cherokee Strip Centennial Organization Board of Directors, Perry Golf an Country Club Social Committee member, a member of the Perry Splash Pad Committee, and is currently attending Leadership Noble County.
Born and raised in Perry, Vollmer has a passion for her community, its businesses, and each of its small-town traditions. She has been married for 17 years to her husband Ryon and has three boys, Tucker 15, Sawyer 13, and Walker, 8. Her interests include spending time with her family, golf dates with her husband, watching her boys in their sporting events, going to the gym, gardening as well as community activities, volunteering, and planning events. She has a strong desire to see the community of Perry prosper.

YOMS
Youth on Main Street
Youth on Main Street (YOMS) is a committee of high school students who volunteer their time to help with events and projects that impact the historic preservation and economic revitalization of our downtown area and community.

We always welcome volunteers to play a role in the Main Street program! We've got plenty of community activities, events, and projects that need helping hands. Serving as a volunteer to assist in improving our community provides that rewarding feeling and sense of Perry pride!
